About Zeze-yaki
Zeze-yaki was originated in early 16th century. It was made for Daimyou (Warlord) as a gift by experienced craftsman. Zeze-yaki ceased in 1878, due to the management difficulty. In 1919, Kenji Iwasaki, regretting the extinction of Zeze-yaki, restores one of the greatest potteries. It was inherited to his third son, Shinjou, and still continued to be recognized as one of the great potteries.
